Yemen’s government Military Media Centre said its forces conducted multiple air and ground operations against Houthi positions across Taiz province, including airstrikes at five locations, during the preceding 24 hours.
Gloucestershire Police declared a major incident, arrested several men on suspicion of explosives-act offences and deployed bomb-disposal personnel near Whelford, close to RAF Fairford. Police said the incident was contained; they did not confirm a link to the base or the Iran war.

He said Saudi Arabia "has been experiencing attacks" and "we need to keep those pathways open."

Yemen's internationally recognized government said its forces struck Houthi fighters, positions and supply lines in the Bab al-Mandeb area and in Bayda province, military spokesperson Col. Majed al-Nazili said; government forces also said they shot down a Houthi drone in Taiz province, Al Jazeera reported. The claims could not be independently verified.
In Sacred Defence Week messages, army commander Maj. Gen. Amir Hatami said Iran's armed forces stand "with full vigilance and readiness" to defend the country, and the IRGC said the US and Israel would sooner or later have to accept a region "free of their evil and criminal presence," with its forces' fingers "on the trigger."
Israeli warplanes struck the outskirts of Kfar Tebnit and Nabatieh al-Fawqa and the Zibqin valley, while artillery shelled towns in the Bint Jbeil and Marjayoun districts overnight and into Monday, Lebanon's National News Agency reported.
