    Yemen's Houthis fire their first missile at Israel since the Iran war began

    Israel's military said it intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, the first such launch of the war, and Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree said the group had fired ballistic missiles at 'sensitive Israeli military sites' in southern Israel.     Israel strikes Arak heavy-water plant, Yazd yellowcake site and two steel mills

    Iranian state media said the Khondab heavy water plant near Arak and a yellowcake production plant in Yazd province were hit, after the Israeli military told residents near Arak to evacuate; Israel also struck the Mobarakeh and Khuzestan steel complexes. The IAEA said the Khondab plant held no declared nuclear material and reported no off-site radiation from the yellowcake site.

    Israel kills IRGC Navy commander Alireza Tangsiri in Bandar Abbas

    Israel said an airstrike in the port city of Bandar Abbas killed Revolutionary Guard Navy commander Alireza Tangsiri, whom Defense Minister Israel Katz called directly responsible for mining and blocking the Strait of Hormuz, along with the navy's intelligence chief Behnam Rezaei and other senior commanders. The Guard confirmed on March 30 that Tangsiri had died of his injuries.

    After an urgent debate in Geneva, the 47-member council adopted by consensus a resolution brought by the Gulf Cooperation Council states and Jordan and co-sponsored by more than 100 countries. It condemns Iran's missile and drone attacks, rejects any move to close or obstruct shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandeb, and calls for full reparation to victims.

    Israel kills Iran security chief Ali Larijani and Basij commander in Tehran strikes

    Israel said overnight strikes killed Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, and Gen. Gholamreza Soleimani, head of the Revolutionary Guards' Basij force, whom it said was hit in a tent used as a makeshift headquarters. Iran's Supreme National Security Council later confirmed Larijani was killed along with his son Morteza, his office chief and several guards.
