UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said all parties must work toward a diplomatic settlement that fully respects Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity, called for a comprehensive ceasefire and said he fully supports a monopoly on weapons by the Lebanese government. Earlier he warned that the U.S.-Iran truce had become a 'lesser fire' that risked becoming 'full fire'.
