Israeli strikes wound 10 staff at a Tyre hospital and kill one in Mashghara

A strike about 15 metres from Hiram hospital in Tyre wounded 10 medical and administrative staff, shattered windows and damaged cars, the hospital's director told AFP, saying the area had been targeted six times since the war began. An Israeli strike on Mashghara in West Bekaa killed one person and wounded another, L'Orient Today's correspondent reported.

Why it matters

All three of Tyre's hospitals have been hit since Hezbollah joined the war in early March, and Israeli strikes continued as the U.S. and Iran said a deal covering Lebanon was close.
