After a call with Trump, Netanyahu's office said Israel is not a party to the memorandum but welcomed Trump's commitment that a final agreement would include removal of enriched material, dismantling of enrichment infrastructure, limits on missile production and an end to Iran's support for proxies. A senior U.S. official said Washington was stressing to Israel that Iran must deliver concessions before receiving any benefits.
Why it matters
Trump acknowledged the same evening that the memorandum only 'conceptually' dealt with Iran's nuclear material, leaving those Israeli demands to later talks that Iran had long rejected.
