Iran says it has made no final decision on a deal, contradicting Trump

Fars, citing a source close to Iran's negotiating team, said Iran had not agreed to any document with the U.S., and foreign ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said a large part of the text was finalised but no final decision had been made and Iran would not compromise on its red lines. A senior Israeli official told Channel 12 that Jerusalem had not been told of a finalised deal.

Why it matters

A diplomat briefed on the talks said the deal had largely been agreed weeks earlier but still had a '50% chance' of collapsing because of 'a lot of potential spoilers'.
