CBS reported that a U.S.-Iran memorandum was likely to be signed early the next week, opening 60 days of talks, with first steps to demine and reopen Hormuz, Iran committing in principle to a 15-20 year halt to enrichment, and financial relief staggered to match compliance. Axios reported the draft would extend the ceasefire for 60 days including Lebanon, reopen the strait immediately with pre-war shipping volumes within 30 days, and lift sanctions only with compliance.
Why it matters
These were U.S.-side accounts; Iranian media published a very different list of terms the next morning, and Trump called those 'fake news'.
