Iran's military said it fired 10 ballistic missiles at Jordan's Muwaffaq Salti air base, which U.S. forces use, and Jordan's army said it intercepted eight Iranian missiles with no casualties or damage. The IRGC also claimed attacks on Camp Arifjan and Ali Al Salem in Kuwait and on Juffair and Sheikh Isa in Bahrain; Kuwait said one person was wounded.

Why it matters
