Iran's deputy foreign minister told Al Jazeera that Iran did not deliberately target the U.S. Apache and was not behind the incident, but that such incidents could happen 'unintentionally' given the tension in the area. A military source told Iranian state media that no offensive air operations had been carried out in the Strait of Hormuz in the previous 24 hours.
