The Israeli military said a suspected Hezbollah drone struck a military zone in northern Israel near the Lebanese border without causing injuries, after two drones exploded near troops in southern Lebanon earlier in the evening and others were intercepted near Metula overnight; sirens sounded repeatedly in the Western Galilee.
Why it matters
The drones kept northern Israel under fire while Israel's government insisted it would stay in south Lebanon under any U.S.-Iran deal.
