Trump and Pezeshkian sign the U.S.-Iran memorandum electronically, and it takes effect

Iran's foreign ministry and the White House confirmed that Presidents Trump and Pezeshkian had signed the memorandum electronically, Trump at the Palace of Versailles after the G7 and Pezeshkian in Tehran, so no signing ceremony would be held in Switzerland. Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the mediator, said the 'Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding' entered into force with immediate effect, beginning with Iran reopening Hormuz and the U.S. lifting its naval blockade.
