Iranian media publish draft deal terms: Lebanon included, Hormuz under Iranian control

Mehr published a 14-point list it said was in the draft memorandum, including an immediate end to war on all fronts including Lebanon, lifting the U.S. blockade and reopening Hormuz 'with Iranian arrangements' within 30 days, suspension of oil sanctions, release of $24 billion in frozen funds and 60 days of nuclear talks, with missiles and support for armed groups off the agenda. IRNA said Iran would not give up management of the strait and state media said Iran would keep its right to enrich.

Why it matters

Trump called these terms 'fake news' hours later; the U.S. account had Iran's enriched uranium destroyed and removed and no money released before Iran performed.
