Israeli army says troops found Hezbollah arms caches in civilian buildings near Zawtar

The Israeli military said Givati Brigade troops operating north of the Litani River, in Zawtar al-Sharqiyah and Zawtar al-Gharbiyah, found several Hezbollah weapons caches in civilian buildings, including firearms, anti-tank missiles and launchers, and drones, and had killed more than 40 fighters since starting operations there.
Why it matters
It confirms Israeli ground operations north of the Litani, beyond the south-of-Litani zone covered by the June 3 Washington statement.
