Houthis say Red Sea shipping safe except Saudi vessels, vow 'escalation for escalation'

Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said maritime navigation is safe for all companies except Saudi vessels, which will only be allowed through Bab al-Mandeb when the blockade on Yemen ends, and pledged to 'enforce blockade for blockade and escalation for escalation.'
Why it matters
Now holding the coast along the strait, the Houthis are singling out Saudi shipping, the traffic Riyadh depends on to bypass Hormuz.
