Speaking outside CENTCOM headquarters in Tampa, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the U.S. would be 'hitting Iran hard' that night with 'strong' and 'clear' strikes on key facilities, that 'if we need to negotiate with bombs, we'll negotiate with bombs', and that Iran still had an opportunity to make a deal. He said the U.S. controls the Strait of Hormuz and has been able to move oil in and out 'for weeks and weeks'.
