    Israel kills IRGC Navy commander Alireza Tangsiri in Bandar Abbas

    Israel said an airstrike in the port city of Bandar Abbas killed Revolutionary Guard Navy commander Alireza Tangsiri, whom Defense Minister Israel Katz called directly responsible for mining and blocking the Strait of Hormuz, along with the navy's intelligence chief Behnam Rezaei and other senior commanders.
