A U.S. Army AH-64 Apache went down off Oman near the Strait of Hormuz on the evening of June 8, U.S. time, and CENTCOM said an unmanned surface vessel from Task Force 59 rescued both crew members within about two hours, the first such rescue by a drone; the crew were in stable condition. CENTCOM said the cause was under investigation.
