Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi said the regional meeting set for Monday in Salalah had been postponed 'in the interests of consensus.' Iran's Foreign Ministry said the delay was requested by some regional countries, and spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei later said Saudi Arabia had asked for it; Bahrain had already said it would not attend.
