Three ships hit inside 24 hours as the truce gives way

U.S. officials said Iran's military fired at least two missiles at commercial ships transiting the strait on Monday night and that the IRGC attacked a third commercial ship on Tuesday morning. Iranian state television said an LNG tanker was attacked after ignoring warnings but did not directly claim the assault. Two ships sustained damage and continued their voyages with no injuries, according to the U.K. maritime agency.
