Hormuz traffic falls to two vessels as blockade remains open-ended

Kpler recorded only two vessels crossing the Strait of Hormuz on Friday, down from nine Thursday and a pre-war daily average above 130. U.S. officials said the blockade of Iranian ports could continue indefinitely, and the UAE later said a third ADNOC-operated vessel was attacked Friday evening without injuries.

Why this matters. The traffic count and a third reported ADNOC attack show that shippers and insurers still face both access constraints and direct vessel risk, keeping physical energy supply and war-risk costs under pressure.
