CENTCOM commander says U.S. missile interceptor stocks are not a concern

U.S. Central Command commander Admiral Brad Cooper told CBS News he is "not concerned at all" about shortages of American missile interceptors amid the ongoing conflict with Iran, saying U.S. forces in the region remain "well armed and ready" despite months of sustained Iranian missile and drone fire.

Why this matters. Interceptor stockpile levels determine how long U.S. naval and air defenses in the Gulf can keep absorbing Iranian missile and drone barrages without depleting reserves needed elsewhere.
